What You Get
Built specifically for veterans
๐ฐ
$5/month, lowest rate on the platform
Every other member pays $12/month. Veterans pay $5. Your first month is free while your credentials are verified. This is not a discount. It is a deliberate decision.
๐
Branch insignia on every application
Once verified, your branch insignia appears on your profile and on every application you submit. Employers who care about veteran talent see your service branch immediately.
๐
Credentials recognized as real qualifications
Your MOS, A School, AFSC, or Rating is treated as a full credential, not a footnote. Employers who select military credentials on their listings are committing to evaluate yours seriously.
๐ป
30-day response guarantee on every application
Every employer on WorkHonest commits to responding within 30 days. Yes, no, or let's talk, but always something. You are never left wondering. That is tracked and enforced through the public Response Score.
๐
Stealth Search for currently employed veterans
Searching while employed? Stealth Search hides your name, photo, current employer, and social links. Your current employer's domain is blocked from seeing your profile entirely.
๐ฅ
A community that gets it
WorkHonest members chose this platform because they believe in honest hiring. Veterans in transition will find employers here who already understand the value of military service.

What WorkHonest asks of employers regarding military training
We do not mandate that employers accept military credentials. That is always their choice. What we do is ask every employer on the platform to consider it, and we give them the context to make an informed decision.
"Consider military training and schooling in place of a traditional 4-year degree. You may find your strongest candidates never needed a traditional campus to build world-class skills."
For employers who want to understand what specific credentials represent before deciding, we maintain a full
Military Credentials Reference backed by the ACE Military Guide and 70 years of DoD evaluation. The employers who take the time to look at it consistently tell us it changed how they think about veteran hiring.

How DD-214 verification works
Verification is simple, fast, and your document is permanently deleted after review. We only need three pieces of information from your DD-214.
1
Black out sensitive information
Before uploading, black out your Social Security Number, date of birth, and any other sensitive information. We only need your branch, years of service, and character of discharge.
2
Upload during signup
When you select the Veteran tier at signup, the upload field appears automatically. PDF, JPG, or PNG. Max 10MB.
3
Reviewed within 24 hours
Justin reviews DD-214 submissions personally. You will receive a confirmation email when your veteran status is verified and your branch insignia is active on your profile.
4
Document permanently deleted
Your DD-214 is permanently deleted within 30 days of verification. It is never stored long-term, never shared with employers, and never used for any purpose other than verifying your service.
Before you upload
Please black out your Social Security Number, date of birth, and any other sensitive personal information before uploading your DD-214. A black marker on a printed copy or a PDF editor both work. WorkHonest only needs your branch, years of service, and character of discharge.

๐ท
Profile photo hidden, you control when you become identifiable

๐
Social links hidden, LinkedIn and portfolio links only visible to employers you apply to
